  • Lifesaving 123 is to provide an introduction to lifesaving and to develop an initial appreciation of water safety, rescue and resuscitation skills. to improve trainee’s knowledge and skills in lifesaving preparatory to the Standard Module. This Module prepares the trainees to respond effectively in water emergencies to the standards required of a qualified lifesaver. By attaining this module, you will become a certified lifesaver and will be able to proceed for the Bronze Medallion certification to qualified as a Lifeguard.

BRONZE MEDALLION & CPR

Per Course

  • After achieving Lifesaving 123 Award, the Bronze Medallion is the next goal before becoming a qualified lifeguard. This course emphasizes swimming fitness and rescue techniques with time limit. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation training is introduced as an essential skill to revive unconscious casualty that is not breathing. At the end of the course, student will attain both the CPR and Bronze medallion certifications.

AWARD OF MERIT & SENIOR RESUSCITATION

Per Course

  • The Award of Merit allows Bronze Medallion holders to further hone in and improve the skill-set that they have picked up from the previous course. Students will establish a higher level of knowledge, understanding and practical ability in aquatic rescue situations. The Award of Merit is also a prerequisite for the SLSS Lifesaving Instructor certification. As part of the course requirements, students are required to have the Senior Resuscitation (or higher) certification, which qualifies students to provide further practical experience in the lifesaving techniques of CPR and related emergency care. Swordfish has weaved in the Senior Resuscitation course as an entire Award of Merit course package for your convenience.

  • Fees do not include Senior Resuscitation Award

DISTINCTION AWARD

Per Course

  • The Distinction Award allows all certified Award of Merit holders to develop a more comprehensive skill set when it comes to aquatic rescue knowledge and techniques. At the end of the course, students will establish an advanced standard of all round knowledge, skills and ability in aquatic rescue situations.
